Ok, so I know what you're thinking; the world just doesn't need yet another chocolate chip cookie recipe, Especially not one that will claim to be the best only to let you down (oh the harsh realities I've faced) However sometimes theres just nothing better than that sweet and unassuming all American classic that is the cookie. Say for example when you've just packed away the largest of large meals and you simply can't manage another bite but at the same time know that just the hint of a little something sweet is all you need to restore the natural order of the world - This happens to you guys too right? Anyways point is that's where the humble cookie comes in.
Over the years I've learned there's a big cookie difference depending on the recipe used. I myself like a cookie where it seems there just isn't enough dough to keep all those naughty little chocolate chips in one place and thankfully David Lebovitz has fulfilled all my chocolatey dreams with this amazing recipe from his Great Book of Chocolate - whatever attracted me to such a book I'll never know, ahem! So please, join me in some gluttony and just a little sloth!
